Book labels have traditionally been known as bookplates, however bookplates are usually a little bit more fancy and not only bear the owner's name but also things such as the owner's motto, crest, coat of arms or badge. After the inscription of the owner's name on a custom bookplate it was usually followed by the words "from the library of...", or in Latin, "ex libris". Simple typographical bookplates are termed "book labels”. We’ve gone with simple (with additional options of dinos, ice creams, cup cakes, unicorns, pussy cats and many many more designs to choose from).
Our book labels are made from paper and so like most things made of paper (such as books!) they are not waterproof! Keep 'em nice and dry and they'll keep your items nice and labelled!
